How to troubleshoot Groupmail 7 account, download and activation problems

Most sign-in and activation problems can be resolved by using the newest email, confirming the account address and freeing an old machine slot. Your local Groupmail data is not deleted when an online account check fails.

The portal sign-in email did not arrive

  1. Confirm that you entered the email connected to your Groupmail account.
  2. Check spam and junk folders for mail from Groupmail [email protected].
  3. Wait for the displayed countdown before requesting another code.
  4. If requests are rate-limited, wait and try again later.

The portal always shows a neutral confirmation, even when it cannot reveal whether an address has an account.

A portal verification code is rejected

  • Use the code in the newest email; a replacement makes every older code stop working.
  • Enter all eight characters. The displayed format is XXXX-XXXX, but the hyphen is optional.
  • Request a new code after 15 minutes or after five unsuccessful checks.
  • If Groupmail says it could not check the code, keep the page open and try the same code again. If it cannot confirm the result, request a new code to continue safely.

A desktop sign-in code is rejected

  • Use the newest email sent to you; requesting a new code invalidates the older code.
  • Enter all eight characters. The displayed format is XXXX-XXXX.
  • Request a new code if 15 minutes have passed.
  • Make sure the email address in the app matches the account that owns the trial or licence.

The app says you have already had a free trial

There is one free trial per email address and one per computer.

  • “This email address has already had a free trial.” Usually that email has already had a trial or a licence. If you bought Groupmail 7, sign in with the email you used at checkout. Otherwise, buy a licence to keep sending.
  • “This computer has already had a free trial.” Usually this computer has already been used with a trial or licence under another email. Select Buy Groupmail 7, then sign in here with the email you used at checkout.

Buying with the same email moves the computer to your paid licence; your local data stays where it is. If neither explanation fits, for example the computer was set up with someone else’s licence, email [email protected] with the email you tried.

Your machine allowance is already in use

The new computer is not activated when your account’s displayed allowance is already in use. Sign in to the portal, open Machines, revoke one old computer and then request a new code on the computer you want to activate. If you cannot revoke an old computer or the allowance appears wrong, contact support before trying a different account.

No download is available

To try Groupmail 7, download it free from groupmail7.com and start your trial in the app. If the site says there have been too many download requests, wait a minute and try again. In the portal, on an eligible pre-trial account, select Download for macOS or Download for Windows; that action starts the free 30-day trial and begins the download, with no card required. If the trial starts but the installer does not begin, use the displayed Try download action. An active trial, eligible perpetual release grant or qualifying cover can download again without restarting a trial. Phones and tablets show no installer; sign in on the destination computer. If a computer says its platform is unavailable, that signed build may not be published yet.

The account service is unavailable

Keep working locally if Groupmail shows a saved valid licence. Retry sign-in, activation or refresh when you are online. Do not repeatedly activate with different email addresses.

You lost access to the account email

Email [email protected]. Account recovery uses a verified account-email change and support evidence; there is no customer licence key that bypasses identity verification.
